In this interview, I speak with David Clements, Founder & CEO of Sofa Club, about how he built his business, what he did to scale the company, and how he managed to generate profits while operating without startup costs. Q: What’s the biggest misconception about being a model?
A: The biggest misconception is that being a model is glamorous. I do a lot of travel, and for fashion shows, I will be up at 5 a.m. and leave the house at 6 a.m. I don’t get to sleep, and I don’t get to rest. It’s a lot of hard work, and you have to have the right mindset.
